Hockey East Names Harrison Scott Player of the Week

Scott led the league with four goals on the weekend.

AMESBURY, Mass. – University of Maine forward Harrison Scott has been named the Hockey East Player of the Week, as announced on Monday by the league.
 
Scott scored four goals, including a hat trick, and added an assist for five points in helping the Black Bears to a two-win weekend over UMass Lowell. The junior had one goal and one assist in Friday's 5-3 win. On Saturday, Scott notched his first a career hat trick that included the game-winning goal and a power-play goal. He scored two goals in 23 seconds during the second period before capping things off with a third period tally.
 
The San Jose, Calif. native finished the weekend with a league leading four goals and tied for the lead in points with his five. He also finished second with 24 face-off wins and wrapped up the weekend with two blocked shots, six shots on goal and a plus-3 rating.
 
This is the first career Hockey East weekly honor for Scott.
