ORONO, Maine – University of Maine Athletics announced today a new ticketing option will be available on a first-come, first-served basis for individuals who want to be seated in an alcohol-free section at Alfond Arena during the 2025-26 season. 

The Section DD bleachers will be a designated alcohol-free section at Alfond Arena, with those seats available for purchase for all ice hockey contests on a first-come, first-served basis.

A presale for season ticket holders and waitlist members for single-game tickets in Section DD will begin at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 7 and run until 7 p.m. on Oct. 9, subject to availability. Season ticket holders and waitlist members can access the presale by signing in to their accounts at GoBlackBears.com/Tickets or by calling 207-581-BEAR during operating hours (8:30 a.m. - 4 p.m., M-F).

The general public will then be able to purchase tickets in Section DD beginning at 7 p.m. on Oct. 9, also subject to availability, online or via phone.
