ORONO, Maine – University of Maine Athletics announced today that the men's ice hockey game between Maine and Boston University at Alfond Arena on Friday, Oct. 31 will now begin at 7:30 p.m.

The Halloween night contest was originally scheduled for a 7 p.m. start but will now start 30 minutes later to be mindful of evening traffic patterns.

The Black Bears are set to host the Terriers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 31 and Saturday, Nov. 1 to open up Hockey East play for the 2025-26 season.
