A look at the Black Bears:
- Maine went undefeated during the non-conference portion of their schedule with a record of 5-0-3, their longest undefeated streak to begin a season in program history.
- The Black Bears have nearly doubled their shots attempts over their opponents on the season, outshooting 100-54, leading to a goal scoring advantage of 2.25 per game compared to just 0.75 allowed per game.
- Maine was drawn 14 more corner kicks than their opponents in 2023, leading the category at 43-29.
Early Season Standouts:
- Abby Kraemer has run her point-streak to five games and she has registered a point in six of eight games to begin 2023. She is coming off of a three-goal week that propelled her to the top of the America East in the category. Her seven goals has her tied for the 13th most scored by one player in the NCAA and her four game-winning goals is tied for the second-most game-winning scores in the NCAA.
- Kira Kutzinski has yet to allow more than one goal in any of her eight games played in 2023. She has a .75 GAA and a .824 save % in 720 minutes played.
- Luise Reinwald (2x) and Abbey Thornton have earned three of the four America East Rookie of the Week honors. Thornton most recently earned the honor following her first collegiate goal to tie Sacred Heart back on Sep. 3.
