WAKEFIELD, Mass. - Hockey East announced Monday, February 27th that University of Maine junior goaltender, Victor Ostman, has been named the league's goaltender of the week while Grayson Arnott has earned Rookie of the Week honors after the Black Bears swept the Boston College Eagles.

The Danderyd, Sweden native recorded 31 saves on both Friday and Saturday night while not allowing an even strength goal during two victories over the Eagles. Ostman posted his eighth and ninth 30+ save perfomance with the weekend sweep. This is the junior's third conference award of the 2022-23 season.

Arnott earned his first career conference award after he scored the game winning goal Saturday night and dished out an assist during both of the weekend victories. The Toronto, Ontario native played a huge role in the Black Bears' defense that did not allow an even strength goal to Boston College.

The Black Bears return to the ice Friday, March 3 against UMass. Puck drop in the Alfond is scheduled for 7:05 pm.
