Women’s Swim and Dive Place Sixth in America East Championships

Worcester, MA - The University of Maine women's swim and dive team placed sixth after four days of the America East Championships with 321.5 points.

The Black Bears had strong showings in the 200 breaststroke. Kayla Loughman led the way placing ninth coming in at a time of 2:22.11. Morgan Bui came in right behind her placing tenth with a time of 2:23.83.

Maine also brought home two twelfth place finishes. Rebecca Thompson in the 1650 Yard Freestyle (17:39.81) and Marlee Canale in the 200 backstroke (2:05.67) 

 In the 200 butterfly, Isabelle Irani placed thirteenth with a time of 2:09.26.
