Lambert and Hartley Named NFHCA All-Region Second Team Members

Orono, ME - Poppy Lambert and Madisyn Hartley of the University of Maine field hockey program were named to the National Field Hockey Coaches Association All-Region Second Team on Wednesday morning.

Lambert is coming off of a season in which she made her third-straight America East All-Conference Team as she earned a spot on the second-team. Lambert concluded the season for the Black Bears with five goals and three assists, totaling 13 points out of the backfield for Maine. She earns her second-straight All-Region selection, having been a first team selection in 2022. Lambert is also a member of the NFHCA Senior-Team.

Hartley caps off her collegiate career with her first ever All-Region selection having been selected to the second team. She made her first All-Conference Team in her final year as a Black Bear as she was a standout player all season, earning a spot on the America East Second Team. Despite a career low in statistical numbers (one goal, two assists, four points) in 2023, Hartley was one of the strongest defensive midfielders in the nation, leading to her deserving selection of an All-Region Second Team.
