Kingston, R.I. -- The University of Maine swimming & diving team placed fourth with 515.5 points at the Harold Anderson Invitational hosted at the University of Rhode Island.
Kayla Loughman had Maine's top mark on day three, placing third in the 200-yard breaststroke with a final time of 2:20.97.
Kennady Kilger added a fourth place showing in the 100 freestyle at 52.25.
Marlee Canale came home fifth in the 200 backstroke at 2:05.54 while
Madison Edwards placed seven in the event, touching the wall at 2:07.30.
Eva Welsh placed eighth in the 200 breaststroke at 2:25.76 while
Carmen Braden's time of 18:00.17 in the 1650 freestyle was good for 11th.
Maine's team of Loughman, Kilger,
Mia Poirier, and
Hannah Deighan finished fifth in the 400 freestyle relay with a combined time of 3:31.44
