Kingston, R.I. -- The University of Maine men's swimming & diving team slotted in fourth with 193 points after one day of competition in the Harold Anderson Invitational at the University of Rhode Island on Friday.
Cameron Watelet had the top finish for Maine, placing second in the 50-yard freestyle at 20.93.
Kaden Kilger placed third in the 500 freestyle at 4:36.11 while
Finn Devers added a sixth place showing in the 50 freestyle, touching the wall at 21.33.
Riley Clark was the runner-up on the 1m board with a score of 294.00.
Maine's 200-yard freestyle team of
Nick Partridge,
Zareck Tello,
Cooper Williams, and
Scott Klein placed seventh with a combined time of 1:28.37.
Nick Scott, Partridge, Watelet, and Devers teamed up to take the bronze in the 400-yard medley relay at 3:26.40.
