Orono, Maine -- Maine Athletics and its multimedia rights partner, Van Wagner, has announced that it has added WSKW 1160 The Score as an additional radio affiliate.
"As we here at The Score look to strengthen our brand on the sports and teams Central Maine sports fans follow passionately, the decision to jump on board with University of Maine hockey, basketball, and football was an easy one," The Score on air personality Mike Violette says. "We're delighted to be a part of the Black Bear Sports Network and look forward to being part of it for years to come."
The Score, based in Augusta, Maine, will carry select men's ice hockey, women's basketball, and football games beginning with the broadcast of Saturday's men's ice hockey exhibition contest with New Hampshire. Puck drop for that game is set for 5 p.m. at Colby College.
