AMESBURY, Mass – University of Maine men's ice hockey defenseman Brandon Chabrier has been named the Hockey East Army ROTC Defender of the Week, as announced on Monday by the league.
 
Chabrier scored the overtime game-winning goal in Maine's 2-1 win at fifth-ranked Quinnipiac on Friday night. It was the first career game-winning goal for the sophomore. Chabrier finished the weekend with five shots on goal and three blocked shots.
 
This is the first career weekly award for Chabrier.
