ORONO, Maine - The University of Maine softball team and new head coach,
Jordan Fitzpatrick, hit the road for a four-game road trip at Quinnipiac University. The team will take on both the Bobcats of Quinnipiac and the University of Hartford Hawks.

The Black Bears are 2-19 after three total plane trips. Every game has been non-conference and on the road.

Brianna Neely (.333) and
Keely Clark (.310) are both hitting over .300 on the short season. Neely has recorded 14 hits and six stolen bases, while Clark has 13 base knocks and nine RBI.
Izzy Nieblas and
Gabby Papushka have both tallied three home runs and 11 RBI over the first 21 games.

Jasmine Gray and
Kelby Drews have combined to record 30 total hits and 11 total RBI. The two infielders are both hitting above the .290 mark. They've touched home plate 20 total times and are perfect on the base paths.

Gabbie Siciliano,
Emily Reid,
Caitlyn Fallon and
Alexandra Gruitch all made appearances over the first 21 games of the newly minted season. Siciliano and Fallon have both earned a win.
Alexandra Gruitch leads the way in strikeouts (24). Reid is close behind the team lead of strikeouts with 21 of her own.
