Worcester, Mass. -- The team of
Liam Blair,
Zach Hopp,
Cam Watelet, and
Kevin Arpin set a new school record with a time of 1:30.87 in the men's 200 yard medley relay on day one of the America East Championships. The time placed Maine fourth in the event.
Riley Clark, who was third in the men's 3m preliminaries, placed sixth in the 3m finals with a score of 230.95 on day one of the America East Championships.
The Black Bears placed fourth in the 800 yard freestyle relay as
Finn Devers,
Zareck Tello,
Kaden Kilger, and
Kevin Arpin completed the race at 6:49.41.
After day one, the Black Bears sit in fifth place with 73 total points. Maine returns to action on day two with preliminary competition on Friday at 10 a.m.
