Men's Track and Field Grab Ninth Place at the America East Championship

BOSTON, Mass – The University of Maine men's track and field team took ninth place with 29 points at the 2020 America East Indoor Championships.
 
In the one-mile run, David Perry grabbed 17th place in the event (4:19.89) with Alec Troxell finished right behind him (4:20.45) for 18th place. Jacob Terry put together a 17th place finish in the 3000m run with a time of 8:32.95.
 
Colton Santoro had a strong showing in the 60m hurdles, grabbing fifth place for the Black Bears with a time of 8.51.
 
Sebastian Osborne had a strong performance in the shot put, finding the podium for a third-place finish with a throw of 15.46m. Jonathan Prell took eighth in the same event (14.40m).
 
The men will next compete at the ECAC at Boston University on March 6-8 to conclude the Indoor Track and Field season.
