ORONO, Maine – The University of Maine men's ice hockey team is ranked 17th in the USCHO.com top 20 poll and 14th in the NCAA Tournament Pairwise Comparison Ratings, the association announced Monday.
 
The Black Bears kept the #17 spot in the USCHO top 20 poll after earning a split with UConn on Friday and Saturday night in the Alfond, while falling one spot in Pairwise Ratings from #13 to #14.
 
Other Hockey East schools in the top 20 are Boston College (6), UMass (8), Northeastern (10), UMass Lowell (14), and Providence (15). Boston University received votes for the top 20.
 
Maine will host the Vermont Catamounts this Friday, February 21st, and Saturday, February 22nd. Puck drop for Friday is scheduled for 7:00 pm, while the Saturday night contest is scheduled for 4:30 pm.
