WORCESTER, Mass. --
Andy Sprague captured the individual record in the 50-yard freestyle event while assisting the Black Bears to a school-record time in the 200-yard freestyle relay on day two of the America East Championships.
After turning in a school-record time of 20.58 with a third place showing in the individual 50-freestyle relay, Sprague bested his own mark with a new school-record time of 20.50 in his leg of the 200-yard freestyle relay. Sprague, along with
Liam Blair,
Jacob Ketch and
Kevin Arpin teamed up to finish third in the 200-yard freestyle relay event with a new school-record time of 1:23.27.
The Black Bears, who ranked third with 188 points after day two, continue America East Championship competition with day three beginning with preliminary action at 10 a.m.
