Two late free throws from Saar extended the lead to 17 to end the period.
The offense kept clicking for the Black Bears early in the second when Millan's triple completed a 6-0 run, pushing the lead to 35-12. Fogarty's deep three, Maine's fifth of the half, gave the host Black Bears their largest lead of the half, 38-14.
