Orono, Maine -- Future University of Maine netminder Jeremy Swayman was taken in the fourth round, 111th overall, by the Boston Bruins on day two of the 2017 NHL Entry Draft held at Chicago's United Center.
Swayman, a 6-foot-2, 183-pound goaltender, played last season for the Sioux Falls Stampede of the U.S. Hockey League. During the 2016-17 campaign, Swayman tallied a 2.90 goals-against average and a .914 save percentage in 32 contests. NHL Central Scounting ranked him No. 12 among North American goalies.
Swayman hails from Anchorage, Alaska.
