GILBERT, Ariz. – The Maine Black Bears field hockey team returned to the Penn Monto/NFHCA Coaches' Poll earning the No. 25 ranking, as announced by the coaches association on Tuesday morning.

Maine has won four consecutive games entering the final weekend of the regular season, including a 1-0 victory over No. 20 UAlbany on Sunday afternoon.

With the win over UAlbany, the Black Bears now hold sole possession of first place in the East division of the America East. With two wins this weekend, Maine will clinch the No. 1 seed in the East division for the America East Champioships.

The Black Bears will travel to take on Vermont this Friday, with the opening whistle set for 3:00 p.m. Maine will then host rival New Hampshire for senior day on Sunday at 1:00 p.m.
