Orono, Maine -- The goal of Junior Black Bear Swimming and Diving is to provide a non-competitive team focused on teaching and refining all competitive strokes, mastering fundamental skills, and concentrating on technique. Swimmers and divers will build confidence in the water and learn what it means to be a good teammate. Junior Black Bear's philosophy is built on a highly experienced coaching staff and a commitment to the University of Maine's surrounding community. GO BLUE!

Sessions are as follows:
Summer Information: Aug. 29 - Sept. 8
- Practice times:
- Mon/Wed - 5:00-6:00 p.m. (Diving offered)
- Tues/Thurs - 5:30-6:30 p.m.
Fall Information: Sept. 12 - Oct. 6
- Practice times:
- Mon/Wed - 5:45-6:30 p.m. (Diving offered)
- Tues/Thurs - 5:45-6:30 p.m.
Winter Information: Oct. 10 - Dec. 22
- Practice times:
- Mon/Wed - 5:00-6:00 p.m. (Diving offered)
- Tues/Thurs - 5:30-6:30 p.m. (Thanksgiving practice schedule will be released when those dates near)
*There are no deck registrations for the swim or dive team. The program is not lessons. Participants should have completed Level 7 of their Black Bear Swim School Booklet and be ready or a swim team atmosphere with a coach on deck for instructions. Divers must have spring board experience for the Dive Team.
Camp is open to any and all entrants. Participants must be a minimum of 5 years of age for swimming and 7 years of age for diving. Program runs up to those entering the 12th grade.
