Halkes wins the awards for a second straight week
ORONO, Maine -- Annabel Halkes of the University of Maine field hockey program has been named the America East Goalkeeper and Rookie of the Week, the conference announced on Tuesday.
This is Halkes' second straight Goalkeeper and Rookie of the Week award of the season.

Halkes recorded 20 saves between two games last weekend for the Black Bears. Halkes made 11 saves vs Boston College in 45 minutes of action before earning a 3-2 OT win against Boston University with 9 saves on Sunday.
Halkes and the Black Bears return to action on Sunday as they host Dartmouth at 2 p.m. at the UMaine Field Hockey Complex.
