Orono, Maine – The University of Maine baseball program dropped the first game of their home stand on Friday afternoon.
First Pitch – 4 PM – 2-0 UMass Lowell
Pitching Breakdown:
Jason Krieger (2-6) turned in a quality start on the mound as he allowed two runs on six hits, four strikeouts and no walks.
Brennan Rumpf pitched the final two innings of Maine, allowing no runs on two walks and a strikeout.
Next Time Out:
The Black Bears (17-28) host the River Hawks for the second game of the weekend series on Saturday, May 9. First pitch is scheduled for 3 PM.
