BOSTON – Kaelyn Larkin of the University of Maine softball team has been named the America East Rookie of the Week, as announced on Tuesday afternoon by the conference.
 
Larkin led Maine with a .600 batting average on the weekend, going 6-for-10 with a .667 on-base percentage and .800 slugging percentage. The Medfield, Mass. native had two doubles and scored four runs while driving in two runs and earning two walks. Larkin recorded her eighth and ninth multi-hit games of the season in the final two games of the series at Bryant and extended her on-base streak to eight games.

This is the second straight week that Larkin has earned Rookie of the Week.
