Baltimore, MD – The University of Maine baseball program fell at UMBC on Saturday afternoon, 11-5.

Scoring Plays:
Juju Stevens got the scoring going in the third inning as he hit an RBI single to right field, scoring
Hunter St. Denis (1B).
Quinn Murphy plated two more runs in the frame on another single to right field, scoring both
Chris Bear (1B) and Stevens (1B/SB).
St. Denis hit his fourth home run of the season in the eighth inning, a two-run shot to center field.
Brody Rasmussen (1B) scored on the play.
Pitching Breakdown:
Vaun Larisa (0-3) went five innings in the start allowing four runs on five hits, two walks and striking out three.
Pierce Friedman threw an inning in relief, allowing five runs (four earned) on four hits and two walks.
Sebastian Holt pitched an inning, allowing just one walk and striking out two batters.
Marshall Loch began the eighth inning on the mound for Maine, allowing two runs on two walks while recording an out.
Brennan Rumpf recorded the final two outs of the frame, allowing a pair of hits.
