Boston, Massachusetts – The University of Maine men's track and field program finished in 5
th place at the America East Indoor Track and Field Championships with 87 points.
Results:
Cole Martin would capture Maine's first medal as he would finish 2
nd in the 60m Dash with a time of 6.81.
Andrew Card,
Miles Gay and
Nolan Feyler would all place in the top 8 of the 400m dash. Card finished 4
th with a time of 47.66, Gay finished 5
th with a time of 48.04 and Feyler finished 7
th with a time of 48.23.
Freshman
Ryan Fernstrom would finish 7
th in the 500m run with a time of 1:05.43.
Kaleb Colson would capture Maine's 2
nd silver medal of the weekend finishing 2nd overall in the 800m run with a time of 1:50.52.
Matt Firlings finished 6
th with a time of 1:52.33 and
Aran Johnson finished 10
th with a time of 1:53.27.
Jacob Robinson-Smey finished the 1000m run in 13
th place with a time of 2:30.63.
Dan Knight would finish 6
th overall in the Mile run with a time of 4:12.15.
Carter Libby finished 7
th overall with a time of 4:12.64.
Owen Transue finished 12
th overall with a time of 4:16.24.
Connor Daigle would finish 13
th overall in the 3000m with a time of 8:28.50.
Logan Ross and
Harry Grenier would follow Daigle with Ross finishing 21
st with a time of 8:33.65 and Grenier finishing 27
th with a time of 8:37.14.
Charlie Collins would land on the podium with a 3
rd place finish in the 5000m as he would finish with a time of 14:16.66. Daigle would finish 9
th at 14:35.34 and
Adam Bendetson would finish 13
th at 14:47.20.

thplace during the 4x400 relay with a time of 3:13.91.

th in the High Jump with a height of 1.90m.
Thomas McCormack would finish 6
th in the Pole Vault with a final height of 4.60m.
Conor Morin would finish 10
th in the Long Jump with a distance of 6.78m.
Will Rush would finish 12
th with a distance of 6.70m and
Andrew Abelon would finish 13
th with a distance of 6.59m.
Morin would capture the America East Triple Jump Championship with a distance of 15.29m. Rush would finish 8
th with a distance of 14.26m.
Ryker Brown would capture a 2
nd place finish in the Shot Put with a distance of 17.31m.
Brown would finish 6
th in the Weight Throw with a distance of 18.70m while
Gavin McGarrity would finish 9
th with a distance of 17.26m.
Ben Therriualt would finish 4th in the Heptathlon with 4994 points, setting a new school record.
Maine will open up their outdoor season at the Raleigh Relays from March 25-27
th hosted by NC State.
