BOSTON, Massachusetts -- The University of Maine men's track and field program competed in the Scarlet and White Invite hosted by Boston University on Saturday January 24.
Cole Martin took home a 4th place finish in the 60m dash finals with a time of 6.85.
Cole Martin would also take home an 11th place finish in the 200m dash with a time of 22.06.
AJ Sebastien finished 13th overall with a time of 22.10.
Andrew Card rounded out Maine's top three finishers with a time of 22.21 good for a 15th place finish.
Spencer Stadnicki was Maine's only competitor in the 400m dash, Stadnicki finished 27th overall with a time of 52.39.
Miles Gay was Maine's only competitor in the 500m event, finishing 10th overall with a time of 1:05.83.Â
The Black Bears took home spots 22 through 24 as
Matt Firlings took home 22nd place with a time of 1:54.97,
Aran Johnson took home 23rd place with a time of 1:55.02 and
Ryan Fernstrom finished 24th with a time of 1:55.04. The three Black Bears were separated by just 0.07 seconds apart.
In the 1000m,
Kaleb Colson led the way for Maine with an 11th place finish with a time of 2:29.48.Â
Jacob Robinson-Smey finished 17th overall with a time of 2:30.13. Dan Knight finished 20th overall with a time of 2:31.00.
Owen Transue finished as Maine's top overall finisher in the Mile run, finishing 43rd overall with a time of 4:18.94.
Ethan Keller followed right behind Transue finishing 44th overall with a time of 4:19.29.
In the 3000m run,
Carter Libby took home a 19th place overall finish with a time of 8:25.02.
Adam Bendetson finished 20th overall with a time of 8:25.53.
Charlie Collins finished the 5000m in 6th place overall with a time of 14:36.74.
Connor Daigle finished in 17th place with a time of 14:49.77.
Logan Ross rounded out Maine's top three in 19th place with a time of 14:56.13.
The group of
Nolan Feyler, Ryan Fernstorm,
Ben Therriault and
Andrew Card finished in 5th place in the 4x400 relay with a time of 3:17.34.

Matt Firlings and
Kaleb Colson teamed up in the Distance Medley Relay for a 5th place finish with a time of 10:17.15.
Thomas McCormack finished 9th overall in the Pole Vault event with a height of 4.35m.
Ben Therriault finished 12th overall with a height of 3.90m.
Conor Morin finished in 6th place in the Long Jump event with a distance of 6.87m.
Will Rush finished in 8th place with a distance of 6.73m.
Billy Albertson finished in 11th place with a distance of 6.68m.
Conor Morin finished the Triple Jump event in 4th place overall with a distance of 14.81m.
Will Rush finished in 7th place with a distance of 14.11m.
Ryker Brown finished the Shot Put event in 3rd place with a distance of 16.53m, being the only Black Bear to compete in the event.
Ryker Brown would finish the Weight Throw event in 2nd place with a distance of 18.80m.
Gavin McGarrity would finish in 8th place with a distance of 15.88m.
The Black Bears return to action next weekend as they take on the BU Terrier Classic and the Harvard Invitational Friday January 30th and Saturday January 31st.
