ORONO, Maine -- The University of Maine cross country programs hit the road to Columbia, Missouri for the Gans Creek Classic on Friday September 26, hosted by the University of Missouri.
Important Information:
- The Men will kick off the morning starting at 8:15 AM while the Women will follow at 9:00 AM.
- There will be Live Stats for this meet courtesy of PrimeTime Timing
- The meet will also be live streamed on ESPN+
Highlight Athletes:
Megan Randall: Randall will be competing in her 2nd event of the season on Friday. Randall opened up her season with a 1st place finish in the August 29 meet between Maine and Army. Randall finished with a time of 17.59.6, which earned Randall the America East Female Performer of the Week.
Veselja Treacy: Treacy will compete for the 2nd time this season after a 2nd place finish in the Maine vs Army dual meet back on August 29. Treacy finished that meet with a time of 18:19.0.
Kennedy Taylor: Taylor will also be competing for the 2nd time this season after a 4th place finish in the Maine-Army dual meet on August 29. Taylor finished that meet with a time of 18:29.1.
Connor Daigle: Daigle took home 2nd place in Maine's opening contest of the season with a time of 25:08.9. The Gans Creek Classic will be Daigle's second meet competed in this season.
Charlie Collins:
Charlie Collins is making his long awaited season debut for the Black Bears. Collins is coming off of a successful campaign last year in Cross Country which saw a 1st place finish in the opening meet against Army, and a successful track campaign which saw a 1st place finish in the 1000m in the indoor season and a 1st place finish in the 3000S in the outdoor season.
Harry Grenier: Grenier took home 6th place in Maine's opening contest of the season with a time of 25:36.2. The Gans Creek Classic will also be Grenier's second meet competed in this season.
