Preview: Maine readies for 2025 America East Championship

Maine will face UAlbany in the first round of the 2025 America East Championship.

ORONO, Maine – The University of Maine softball team will head to Binghamton University for the 2025 America East Softball Championship, with the tournament running May 7-10 at Bearcats Sports Complex.
 
Sixth-seeded Maine is set to face third-seed UAlbany at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 7 in the second game of the double-elimination tournament.
 
With a win against UAlbany, Maine would advance to play again at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 8. With a loss against UAlbany, Maine would play in the 4 p.m. elimination game on Wednesday, May 7.
