Guerrera, Snowberger named to America East All-Rookie Team

Francesca Guerrera and Bailey Snowberger have been named to the 2025 America East All-Rookie Team.

BOSTON – University of Maine softball's Francesca Guerrera and Bailey Snowberger have been named to the 2025 America East All-Rookie Team, as announced on Tuesday afternoon by the conference.
 
Guerrera and Snowberger – who were two of just four players in the conference to start more than 45 games – become Maine's first All-Rookie team honorees since 2023.
 
Guerrera had 36 hits during the regular season to rank fifth overall among first-year players and tie for 17th overall. The Folsom, Calif. native hit .257 with seven doubles, 24 runs batted in and 13 runs scored, with her 24 runs ranking 13th. In the field, Guerrera started all 46 regular season contests at second base and posted a .982 fielding percentage, tied for sixth overall and tied for third among players with at least 150 chances.
 
Snowberger knocked 35 hits with a .273 batting average during the regular season, including eight doubles and one home run. Her 35 hits tied for 19th overall in the league and were sixth-most among rookies while her eight doubles ranked sixth. Snowberger drew 21 walks, eighth-best in America East, and added eight stolen bases. The North Huntingdon, Pa. native started all 46 games at short stop for the Black Bears. 

Both Black Bears tied for the team lead in multi-hit games with 10.
