How it Happened

• After a leadoff triple, the Great Danes took a 1-0 lead on a fielder's choice in the home half of the first.
• UAlbany then exploded for four runs in the second and six runs in the third for the 11-0 lead through three … the Great Danes finished off their scoring with a single run in the fourth inning.
• The Black Bears stranded runners in the second and fourth innings but were unable to cut into the deficit.

Game Notes

• Madison Simmerman started, going 2.0 innings, while Ava Zettlemoyer and Alysen Rieth threw 1.0 innings each.
• Abby Rhee – who was hit by a pitch twice – has now reach based safely in nine consecutive games.
