Lewisburg, PA – The University of Maine baseball team picked their second win of the weekend over Bucknell on Saturday afternoon.

The Black Bears brought home all four of their runs in the ninth inning, all of which were unearned as

Chris Bear (BB) and
Drew Reynolds (BB) all scored on a E8 before
Dean O'Neill drove in
Brody Rasmussen (E8) for the fourth run.
Black Bear Pitchers:
Caleb Leys turned in the best outing of any Black Bear pitching on the season to this point as he was perfect through 6 innings of action, allowing no base runners and striking out 9, the second-most in his career.
Gianni Gambardella (1-0) began the seventh inning on the mound, in which he carried the perfect game into the eighth inning before allowing 1 run on 2 hits and one walk. He struck out three batters.
Sebastian Holt (2) pitched a perfect ninth inning for Maine, striking out one batter.

Hadley Maxwell (0-1) took the loss in relief as he allowed 4 unearned runs in 3 innings of work.
