Albin Boija has been named the Hockey East Stop It Goaltending Goaltender of the Week while
Brandon Holt is the Hockey East Army ROTC Defender of the Week, as announced Monday by the league.

Boija went 2-0-0 this past weekend, stopping 44 of 47 shots for a .936 save percentage and 1.50 goals against average. Among league goaltenders playing two games, the Sundsvall, Sweden native was the only one to post multiple wins and was tops in save percentage and goals against average. On Friday against Northeastern, Boija made 20 saves to help Maine to a 3-1 win and Maine's first season series victory over the Huskies since 2011-12. Saturday saw Boija stop 24 shots, including 12 in the third period.

Holt had one goal and one assist on the weekend while blocking five shots, recording four shots on goal and earning a plus-3 rating. On Saturday, Holt scored a game-tying goal late in the first period and then assisted on the game-winning goal in the second period of the 3-2 victory over #20 UMass The Grand Forks, N.D. native helped the Maine penaly kill unit go 8-for-8 on the weekend.

This marks the second career Defender of the Week honor for Holt, who was named Defender of the Week once during the 2023-24 season along with Defender of the Month honors this past October. This is the fifth career weekly honor for Boija and the second this season.
