MADISON, Wisconsin - The University of Maine women's ice hockey team fell to the #1 nationally ranked Wisconsin Badgers on Saturday, 5 to 0.
Kiia Lahtinen made 49 saves for Maine (.907 save %), while the team blocked 20 shots.
The Black Bears were 3-for-3 on the penalty kill as they continue to tick at a 100% while short-handed. They are tied for first in the nation for penalty kill percentage.
