ORONO, Maine -- Five members of the Maine Football team have been named to Phil Steele All-Conference Teams, as announced by the Phil Steele organization on Friday, Aug. 2.
Graduate tight end
Cooper Heisey led the Black Bears with a spot on the second team while
Jamie Lamson joined Heisey on the offensive side as a member of the third team.
Defensive linemen
Izaiah Henderson and
Xavier Holmes each earned a nod to the defensive third team while
Aidan Cadogan was named a fourth team punter.
The Black Bears will open the 2024 season on Friday, Aug. 30 when they host Colgate at 7 p.m. Season and single game tickets for the upcoming campaign are on sale now and can be purchased online at
