Soccer Announces 2024 Schedule

The defending America East Tournament champions will play a total of 15 regular season games, including six home matches and eight America East fixtures.

ORONO, Maine – On the heels of the program's first-ever NCAA Tournament berth, the University of Maine soccer team announced the schedule for the upcoming 2024 season today.
 
The Black Bears, the 2023 America East champions, will play a total of 15 regular season games, including six home matches and eight America East fixtures.
 
After a pair of exhibition games, Maine will begin the season in earnest at LeMoyne on Thursday, Aug. 15 followed by a game at Syracuse on Sunday, Aug. 18. The Black Bears wrap up the season-opening three-game road trip at Rhode Island on Sunday, Aug. 25.
 
The Black Bears will host Merrimack in the home opener on Thursday, Aug. 29 at Mahaney Diamond. Maine will then travel to New Jersey to take on Rutgers on Sunday, Sept. 1. The team will host Stonehill (Sept. 8) and face Holy Cross (Sept. 15) on the road to close out non-conference play.
 
America East Play begins at home on Sunday, Sept. 22 against Binghamton. The Black Bears then travel to face Vermont (Sept. 29) before returning home to host UMass Lowell (Oct. 3) in a rematch of last year's title game. Maine will then play at Bryant (Oct. 6) and at UMBC (Oct. 13) and then play host to UAlbany (Oct. 20) and NJIT (Oct. 27).
 
The Buffalo Wild Wings Border Battle at New Hampshire (Oct. 31) closes out the regular season.
 
The America East Tournament quarterfinal round will take place on Nov. 3 with the semifinal set for Nov. 7 and the championship for Nov. 10.
