AMESBURY, Mass. – Twenty members of the 2023-34 University of Maine women's ice hockey team have been named to this year's Hockey East All-Academic Team, as announced on Tuesday by the league.
 
Each student-athlete on the All-Academic Team achieved a grade point average of 3.0 or better in each of the two academic periods during which she was actively competing.
 
Additionally, Julia Bachetti, Elise Morphy, Ann-Frederique Guay and Ida Kuoppala were named to the Hockey East All-Academic All-Star Team for compiling the highest GPA at their position for the 2023-24 season. Kuoppala earned All-Academic team honors for the fifth consecutive year while Morphy was honored for the fourth time in her career.
