ORONO, Maine - The University of Maine men's track and field team placed second (134 points) of the seven teams at the Holy Cross Invitational on Saturday.

All-Time Men's Outdoor Track & Field Top Performances

• Cole Martin placed first in the 100-meter dash with a time of 10.56, which breaks the Maine school record of 10.58. Martin also placed 7th in the 200-meter dash.
• Eamon Sweeney placed 8th in the 110-hurdles for a time of 15.03, which places fifth all-time in Maine's school records.
• Conner Michaud placed 1st in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 53.73, checking in third overall in Maine's school records. 
• Ben Cotton, Ralph Cruz, Cole Martin, Josh Sewell placed 1st in the 4x100 meter relay.
• Jonathan Prell placed third in the shot put.
• Gavin McGarrity placed 2nd in the hammer throw, with a distance of 55.22m which checks in 8th in Maine's school records.

The Black Bears travel to the University of New Hampshire on Saturday, April 27 for their final meet of the outdoor season before the America East Outdoor Championships on May 4-5. The UNH meet will take place at the Reggie Atkins Track & Field Facility.
