Orono, ME - The University of Maine baseball team was defeated by Rider on Friday afternoon, 13-4.

Second Inning:
Logan Burrill put the Black Bears in front early with a grand slam in the second frame of action. His second home run of the season brought home
Zach Martin (1B),
Jake Marquez (1B) and
Will Burns (Sac-Bunt/E1).
Third Inning: Rider scored six runs in the frame.
Sixth Inning:
Noah Lewis was called on to begin the sixth inning on the mound for Maine.
Geoff Mosseau allowed 6 runs on 9 hits, 5 walks and 2 strikeouts across his 5 innings of work.
Rider scored four runs (2 earned) in the top of the sixth.
Eighth Inning: Rider added their final three runs of the day on a three-run home run in the eighth.
Lewis allowed 7 runs (5 earned) on 4 hits, 8 walks and 2 strikeouts in his 4 innings of relief.
