ORONO, ME - The University of Maine men's and women's track and field teams prepare to travel to Boston, MA to compete in the America East Indoor Championships taking place on Feb. 19 and 20 with events scheduled to start at 10 a.m.

Black Bears to Watch (Women):
- Cheyenne Figueroa broke the school record in weight throw at the Suffolk meet with a distance of 19.79m
- Mackenzie Wilson is second in school history in weight throw with a distance of 19.39m.
- Megan Randall recently broke the 3000m school record with a time of 9:23.19. Randall sits in sixth place overall in the one mile with a time of 4:58.74. She also is second in the 5000m with a time of 16:25.83.
- Graduate student Claudia Damboise placed first in women's shot put with a distance of 12.84m at Maine's home meet placing her sixth overall in UMaine history.
Black Bears to Watch (Men):
- Gavin McGarrity checks in at tenth place is UMaine history for shot put after the BU meet with a distance of 15.89m.
- Luke Marsanskis broke the school record in the 5000m, holds third place in the 3000m, and sits in the ninth place record in UMaine history in the one mile.
- Marek Veal holds the eighth-best overall shot put distance with 16.06m.
- Jonathan Prell threw a distance of 17.11m in shotput at the home meet; a personal best that sits at third overall in UMaine history.
- Ryker Brown placed second in weight throw at Maine's home meet with a distance of 18.06m; a personal best that sits in fourth overall in UMaine history.
- Conner Michaud set a personal best in the 400m (48.00s) and 200m (21.87s) races, holding third place overall in both events. -
- Andrew Card sits just behind Michaud in the 400m, checking in at seventh place with a time of 49.26s.
- Cole Martin holds the second place record in the 200m race with a time of 21.76 2nd. Martin also sits in third place overall in the 60m race.
