Box Score Durham, NH – The University of Maine men's basketball team was defeated at New Hampshire on Saturday night, 60-57.

The first half was controlled by New Hampshire for the first 15 minutes as they pushed the lead up to 11 points at 30-19.

Maine flipped the momentum over the final 4:50 as they ended the half on a 17-3 run, taking a 36-33 lead into the break.

Peter Filipovity was nearly perfect in the first half as he had a game-high 17 points on 7-for-8 shooting as he scored nearly half of the Black Bears first half points.

Kellen Tynes had six points, four steals and two assists.

Both sides came out in the second half playing great defense as both sides remained close throughout the second half.

New Hampshire reclaimed the lead with 10:42 remaining in the second half, a lead that they held onto until the final buzzer, defeating Maine 60-57.

Filipovity finished with 20 points while
Jaden Clayton had 12 points (10 in the second half) to go along with three steals and four rebounds.

Tynes finished with 10 points, four steals, three rebounds and two assists.

Maine (11-13, 3-6 AE) remains on the road as they head to Bryant on Thursday, Feb. 15.
