Kimberly Stiles announced the schedule for the upcoming 2025 season today.

The regular season slate – the 47th season of Maine softball – features a total of 48 games, including 12 at the Pierre & Catherine Labat Softball Complex and 21 America East contests.

Maine will open the season with the Pinnacle PC Invitational in South Carolina. The Black Bears will face East Tennessee State and host-Presbyterian College (Feb. 14) followed by Rhode Island (Feb. 15) before rematches against East Tennessee (Feb. 15) and Rhode Island (Feb. 16).

The Black Bears will then play in the Mardi Gras Classic (Feb. 21-23) in Alabama, facing Texas A&M Corpus Christi, Lipscomb, Notre Dame and host-South Alabama. It's then on to the Mardi Gras Mambo Tournament in Louisiana (Feb. 28-March 1) to take on host-Southeastern Louisiana, Southern University, Houston Christian University, Grambling State and Stephen F. Austin. Maine then wraps up tournament-style play at the Yale Tournament (March 7-9), facing Sacred Heart, Yale and Central Connecticut State.

Maine will play a three-game series at Merrimack (March 15-16) before heading to New York to play a doubleheader against Iona (March 18).

America East play begins with two road series as the Black Bears open up at Bryant (March 22-23) before heading to UMass Lowell (March 29-30).

The Black Bears will host UMBC in the home-opening weekend Aril 5 and 6. After a non-conference doubleheader at Stonehill (April 8), Maine returns to Orono to host Binghamton (April 12-13). After a trip to face 2024 America East champion UAlbany (April 19-20), the Black Bears return home to close out the regular season with a pair of series against UMass Lowell (April 26-27) and Bryant (May 2-3).

The 2025 America East Tournament, which is being hosted by Binghamton, will begin on May 7 and conclude on May 11.
