ORONO, Maine - The University of Maine women's ice hockey team was defeated 5-1 by #13 Boston College Saturday night at Alfond Arena.
The Eagles found the back of the net twice in the first four minutes before senior
Alyssa Wruble split the lead on a power play opportunity in the second period. Wruble's unassisted, lone goal accounted for her fourth this season.
Boston College responded with two more goals in the second period followed by a fifth and final goal in the third period.
Maine outshot the Eagles for the second night in a row, 33-31.

Stephanie Jacob each recorded five shots on goal.
Kiia Lahtinen made 26 saves for the Black Bears.
