ORONO, Maine – The University of Maine women's soccer team will travel to Baltimore this weekend to take on UMBC on Sunday, Oct. 13.
 
The Black Bears and Retrievers are set to kickoff at 12 p.m. at Retriever Soccer Park. The America East clash will stream live on ESPN+.

ABOUT MAINE
• Maine enters Sunday at 8-1-2 overall and 4-0 in America East play… the Black Bears last played on Oct. 6, earning a 3-1 road win at Bryant and extending the team's winning streak to six games … it's the longest winning streak for the Black Bears since 2006 and the first four-game winning streak in conference play since 2005.
• Abby Kraemer (4-4-12) and Jordane Pinette (5-2-12) are tied for the team lead in points while three other Black Bears have at least eight points in Kristina Kelly (2-4-8), Lara Kirkby (3-2-8) and Kayla Kraemer (3-2-8).
• Pinette's five goals have all been game-winning goals, tying her for second in the nation.
• Maine is the first America East team since 2019 to have five players with at least eight points each.
• With a 1-0 win over UMass Lowell on Oct. 3, the Black Bears set the America East record for longest home-game unbeaten streak at 23 games.

• The Retrievers sit at 5-7-1 overall and 1-2-1 in America East play after falling at Vermont, 3-1, on Oct. 6 … UMBC also beat UMass Lowell, 2-1, and fell to Binghamton, 4-3.
• Natasha Munro leads the Retrievers with 10 points from four goals and two assists … Izzy Binko (3-2-8) and Meghan McKye (2-1-5) give UMBC three players with multiple goals.
• Abbey Cowles has played the majority of minutes in goal, going 2-7-1 with a 2.13 goals against average while posting a .679 save percentage and combing for three shutouts.

SERIES HISTORY vs UMBC
• Maine holds an all-time record of 13-6-2 in the all-time series with UMBC.
• These two teams met last season in Orono, battling to a 2-2 tie … Kristina Kelly scored in the game for Maine while Lara Kirkby had an assist.
• The first-ever meeting came in 2003, with the Black Bears earning a 2-0 win … Maine went on to win the first six games in the series.
