Luke Marsanskis of the University of Maine men's track and field team was named the Male Track Performer of the Week, America East announced Tuesday.
Marsanskis placed first in the mile with a time of 4:09.84. His personal best at UMaine's home meet set a facility record. He is now 1st in the conference and 4th in the Northeast Region.
The team most recently competed in the University of Massachusetts flagship meet on Sunday, Jan. 14.

The team will travel to Durham, NH for a meet at the University of New Hampshire on Sunday, Jan. 21.
