Orono, ME - Former University of Maine Offensive Player of the Year and forward, Chloe Walton was selected by Team Canada to represent them in the 2023 Pan American Games.

Walton, the 2022 America East Offensive Player of the Year, a 2022 Third Team All-American and a member of the 2021 America East Championship Black Bears, scored 34 goals and dished out 14 assists in her four seasons as a Black Bear. In her senior year, Walton scored 11 goals and dished out six assists for a total of 28 points on the season.

The Pan American games are scheduled to take place from October 20-November 5 in Santiago, Chile. Canada will be competing in Pool B against Chile, Cuba and Mexico.
