Eugene, OR - University of Maine track and field athlete Evan Thornton-Sherman had an impressive showing at the USATF U20 Outdoor Championships, earning a bronze medal in the 1500m.

Thornton-Sherman finished in third place in the 1500m with an end time of 3:50.57. The Vermont native also had an impressive finish in the 5000m. He placed eighth crossing the finish at 15:33.22.
