Jake Rainess got the scoring going for the Black Bears as he drew a bases loaded walk, scoring

Quinn McDaniel singled home a pair of runs on the following at bat, scoring

Dylan McNary got the three-run fifth inning going for the Black Bears as he tripled to right center, scoring

Brian Foley was called on in relief of Matt Draper in the fifth inning. Draper allowed 8 runs (7 earned) on 9 hits, 3 walks, 1 hit batter and striking out 2.
