Kristians Feierbergs knocked down the buzzer-beating game-winner for the Black Bears in the regular season finale on Tuesday night, a 66-64 win for Maine.

The Black Bears got on the board first as
Jaden Clayton came away with a steal on the defensive end that led the a three-pointer by
Gedi Juozapaitis.

The Bulldogs took their first lead on the night at 7-5 when Sherif Gross-Bullock buried a jumper.

The Black Bears retook the lead as they went on an extended run of 8-0, capped off by a layup from
Kellen Tynes to make it a 16-9 contest.

The Black Bears pushed their lead out to nine points with 6:46 remaining on the clock as
Milos Nenadic had a slam dunk off of a
Jaden Clayton feed.

The Bulldogs would answer with a 9-0 run of their own, tying the contest up at 25-25 off of an Earl Timberlake three-pointer.

The Black Bears retook the league and held onto a one-point lead heading into the half. Krisitans Feierbergs led the Black Bears in scoring in the first half as he had seven points.

Kellen Tynes tied the programs all-time steal record for a single season as he picked up his 95
th steal in the opening minutes of the half.

Sherif Gross-Bullock led all scorers with 13 points in the first half for Bryant.

Both sides came out in the second half trading buckets, leading to neither team gaining much of an advantage until midway through the half. The Black Bears grabbed a six-point lead with 9:31 on the clock following a Ja'Shonté Wright-McLeish layup on a fast break chance.

Bryant would close the gap down to nothing as it was 64-64 with 22 seconds remaining in the half.

Following a missed three-pointer by Wright-McLeish,
Kristians Feierbergs played the hero on Tuesday night as he grabbed the offensive rebound and tipped it in at the buzzer, giving the Black Bears a 66-64 victory in the final game of the regular season.

Gedi Juozapaitis led the Black Bears in scoring on the night as he finished with 19 points, including three three-pointers.

Kellen Tynes finished with 12 points, six rebounds, four assists and one steal.
Â
Krisitians Feierbergs concluded the night with 11 points, but none bigger than his final two scored on the night.

Maine (13-16, 7-9 AE) have locked up the seven-seed in the America East Tournament and they will travel to UMass Lowell on Saturday afternoon to face the Riverhawks. Tip-off is scheduled for 4:00 P.M.
