Orono, ME - The National Field Hockey Coaches Association announced on Thursday afternoon that two University of Maine field hockey athletes,
Julia Ross and
Olivia Geniti, were named NFHCA Scholars of Distinction for their incredible fall semesters in the classroom.
Julia Ross achieved an incredible 3.94 GPA during the fall semester.
Olivia Geniti achieved a perfect 4.0 GPA during the fall semester.
The National Field Hockey Coaches Association recognizes student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative grade-point average of 3.9 or higher through the first semester of the 2022-23 academic year are named a Scholar of Distinction.
