Lowell, MA – The University of Maine baseball team made it 14-straight victories as they picked up the win over UMass Lowell Friday night, 5-4.

Connor Goodman gets the Black Bears on the board first as he hit a sac-fly to center field, bringing home

Jake Marquez added on with an RBI single to left field, scoring
Scout Knotts.
Jeff Mejia would draw a bases-loaded walk to bring home
Jeremiah Jenkins, making it a 3-0 game.

Fritz Genther answered back for the Riverhawks in the bottom of the frame as he hit a 2-run home run to left field, scoring Ryan Proto on the play. Robert Gallagher tied the contest up at 3-3 as he hit an RBI single to right field, scoring Alex Luccini on the play.

Joe Bramanti came in to score later on an error by the UMass Lowell defense on a groundball hit by

Brandon Fish got one back in the bottom of the frame for UMass Lowell as he hit a double to left center, driving home Robert Gallagher.
